Planned Parenthood organizations & partners across the country will hold a “Bans Off Our Bodies” day of action on May 14, to raise awareness of the threats to our constitutional right to abortion and to stand in support of reproductive freedom across the country. 

Together, we will send a clear and loud message to politicians who want to control our bodies and our lives: BANS OFF OUR BODIES.

Here in Indiana, politicians have been clear that they have one goal only - to ban abortions in Indiana. They keep chopping away at the access to abortion with the hope of a special session this summer to ban it outright. Every day Americans, folks in Indiana, have fought tirelessly for generations to gain and protect the rights and freedoms we enjoy today. Together, we can stand up for access to safe and legal abortion and reject these attempts to strip us of our health and rights.

In Indiana, we’ll be collecting short videos and photos of people holding Bans Off Our Bodies signs or t-shirts and sharing them on our socials on May 14th to show that folks in Indiana do not want more bans when it comes to our access to abortion healthcare.

Please send us a selfie, a group shot of you and your friends, or a picture of you and your dog wearing or holding a sign that says Bans Off Our Bodies or Abortion is _________ (fill in the blank with what abortion means to you.) We need as many pictures as possible by May 9th so we can show that 78% of people in Indiana believe that everyone deserves the right to LEGAL, safe abortions.
