If you're looking to get involved with Planned Parenthood in Hawai’i, this is where to put your energy!

Hawaiʻi has long been a leader in the fight for reproductive freedom, but with Roe overturned, we must do more. It is not enough to fight against bad policies or protect the status quo. We are pushing boldly for proactive policies that expand access to reproductive health care to ensure that every person, no matter their ZIP code, economic status, or background has access to the health care they need and deserve.

Here, you can find several virtual events that you can attend from anywhere in the state, as well as opportunities to get involved in Honolulu. If you want to talk 1-on-1 with our lead organizer about getting even more involved, book a quick meeting with her here!

Virtual Volunteer Training with PPAA HI - Wednesday. June 4th @ 6:00pm

Planned Parenthood Hawai'i is gearing up for a great summer full of fun events and opportunities to get involved! This means we've got lots of new volunteers joining the cause and representing Planned Parenthood out in the community, and we want to make sure you've got all the tools you need! Join us for on Wednesday the 4th to learn about being a PPAA volunteer, how to represent PP while tabling and at events, what to expect as a volunteer, and how to respond to different encounters. All are welcome to this virtual training, even if you are not currently signed up for a volunteer shift. Sign up here.

Sex Trivia at Proof Social Club- Thursday. June 12th @ 6:00pm

We know you love trivia just as much as we do, so we are super excited to be hosting another round in June that will hosted by our friends over at Proof Social Club! RSVPs are required for this event so be sure to have your entire group sign up- having one person sign up on behalf of your group could result in some of your team members being turned away to accommodate those that have signed up.Get ready to learn something new and get the chance to win some great prizes! Sign up here.

Maui Pride Festival- Saturday. June 14th @ 3:00pm

PPAA Hawai'i will be making our way to Maui for the Pride Festival this year! Join us on Saturday, June 14th from 3-8pm on Market Street in Wailuku. We will be set up with our pink table chatting with folks about ways to get involved and the new happenings at Planned Parenthood, like our upcoming launch of vasectomy care at the Hawai'i Health Centers! Walk for Life with HHHRC- Thursday. June 12th @ 6:00pm

PPAA Hawai'i is super excited to be tabling under the community tent again this year at the 2025 Walk for Life! Hosted by our friends at the Hawai'i Health and Harm Reduction Center, the walk for life is an annual community event that allows individuals and businesses alike to come together to raise money for HIV awareness and to honor our communities history. Want to volunteer to table with us? Sign up here.

Organizational Office Hours- Every Thursday!- Every Thursday from 11am-2pm

Have some time to spare during the week to help out Planned Parenthood? That's what office hours are for! Traditionally scheduled for Thursdays at 11am, volunteers are invited to come to the Honolulu Health Center office to work on collaborative efforts and chip away at the ever growing task list for community events. We'd love to see you there! If Thursdays aren't your jam, send an email to Micaela to chat about an alternative time!
