Back 2 School Bash: Backpack Packing Session! August 19, 2026 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM CT Planned Parenthood Northwest Community Center, 5370 W Fond Du Lac Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53216 Back 2 School Bash is BACK! We need your help packing backpacks with school supplies, toiletries, sanitary products, and other goodies - all of which we will be giving out FOR FREE to the families we serve in our community. Each year, we see hundreds of folks across the community, joining us for our block party celebration where they also get connected to likeminded organizations, committed to providing quality care people need. Madison Night Market August 20, 2026 4:30 PM - 9:00 PM CT Outside the MMOCA, 227 State St, Madison, WI 53703 Come hang with PPAWI at Madison's Night Market! We will be giving out free merch and talking about the awesome Planned Parenthood clinics we have in Madison. You'll be with staff or a seasoned volunteer the whole time, making this a great event for first-time volunteers. Back 2 School Bash: Volunteer Sign-up! August 23, 2026 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM CT Northwest Health Center, 5380 W Fond Du Lac Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53216 We are gearing up for our 5th annual Back to School Bash! We will host our flagship event during which kids - elementary through high school - can get school supplies + hygiene items, and families can have a safe, fun afternoon accessing local resources, healthcare, and participate in our fun, carnival style event! There will be music, facepainting, balloon art, food, and more! We are always in need of volunteers at the bash – reach out to Tarah Brewster (tarah.brewster@ppwi.org) if you are interested in helping out and would like to learn more!

New Volunteer Orientation August 24, 2026 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM CT (Virtual Event) Wisconsin Want to help Wisconsin fight for stronger reproductive and sexual health care, but don't know where to start? Well you are in the right place! This virtual orientation will cover all the basics of how Planned Parenthood Advocates of WI organizes volunteers around the state. While orientation is not required before getting started, it's a great way to get your questions answered and connect with PPAWI staff. Milwaukee: Action Council (August) August 26, 2026 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM CT Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin, 302 N Jackson St, Milwaukee, WI 53202 Join Milwaukee's Monthly Action Council, where we'll be discussing our electoral programming goals for the Fall Midterms, key legislative and legal issues affecting reproductive health access in our state, and ways volunteers - like yourself - can get involved with our people-powered movement! Magic Midlife: Managing Peri- and Menopause in Madison August 26, 2026 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM CT Goodman South Public Library, 2222 S Park St, Madison, WI 53713 Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin recently launched a new peri-menopause and menopause care program at in-person and telehealth clinics! While PPWI is ready to help manage menopause's symptoms, we also know that menopause signals a new phase of life for many people that can feel overwhelming and isolating. Join PPAWI in Madison for Midlife Magic, a new event series to build community, confidence, and manage your care during peri- and menopause. We’ll be talking about advocating for yourself in a health care setting, the mental and emotional impacts of these changes, and how to fight the stigma around menopause.
