(Virtual Event) Wisconsin
Talking about sex ed, birth control and abortion access is one of the best ways you can stand up for reproductive freedom. And it's a great way to get involved because you can do it the next time you get coffee or dinner with a friend or neighbor. For this purpose, PPAWI is eager to share the Conversational Approach with you. Rooted in psychology, this interactive 2-hour training gives you the tools to have meaningful conversations and become more effective advocates. This approach to advocacy is used throughout PPAWI from staff to volunteers with the goal of changing hearts and minds. Using the approach, we’ll reconsider our assumptions about what it looks like to support the freedom to decide, acknowledge that people may have conflicted feelings, and find common ground based on shared values.

Voces de la Frontera Office, 733 W Historic Mitchell St, Milwaukee, WI 53204
Join Voces de la Frontera for A Day Without Immigrants, a day of solidarity, truth, and collective power. Planned Parenthood Advocates of WI will be present in support of our immigrant communities and movement partners, and we invite our supporters to join us.
Immigrant rights and reproductive justice are deeply connected. Reproductive justice means having the freedom to decide if, when, and how to build a family, and to raise children in safe and healthy communities. Those rights are threatened when families face detention, deportation, family separation, economic hardship, or fear of accessing healthcare. When immigrant communities are under attack, reproductive freedom is impacted too.
Showing up for May Day means showing up for the dignity, safety, and autonomy of all people. We hope supporters will stand with us and be part of this important day of action. Reach out to Constituency Programs Coordinator, Citlali Garcia at citlali.garcia@ppwi.org for any questions.

Join Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin for our HIV Prevention HNC in Milwaukee. We’ll connect with community members about the high HIV rates in the greater Milwaukee area and share information about the prevention, testing, treatment, and support services available through Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin health centers.
Everyone deserves access to accurate health information and affordable healthcare. Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin offers compassionate, judgment-free, and low-cost care, including HIV testing, PrEP and PEP, STI testing, and other essential sexual and reproductive healthcare.
This canvass is an opportunity to reduce stigma, meet people where they are, and help more community members learn about available care and resources.

Talking about abortion access and Planned Parenthood services is one of the best ways you can stand up for our health care; but where do you start? Sometimes we get caught in debates or arguments and lose sight of the people who are impacted. For this reason, PPAWI is eager to share the Conversational Approach with you. Rooted in psychology, this interactive 2-hour training gives you the tools to have meaningful conversations and become more effective advocates.
