Whether you're a seasoned voter or heading to the polls for the first time, this free event is the perfect opportunity to ask questions about the upcoming primary election, learn more about what's on the ballot, and get answers to any voting related questions you may have. We'll provide the pizza, picnic vibes, and resources, you just bring your curiosity!

Election 2026: Democratic Primary Forum Watch Party in Madison July 28, 2026 6:45 PM - 8:30 PM CT Sequoya Library, 4340 Tokay Blvd, Madison, WI 53711 With the August 11 election around the corner, we know a lot of people are still undecided on their pick for the Democratic nominee for governor. While PPAWI is not endorsing anyone in the primary, we want our supporters to feel confident and excited about the election process! Join us to watch the WISN 12 candidate forum to hear from all the Democratic candidates, connect with other PPAWI supporters, eat some pizza, and get hyped for the fall election! Healthy Neighborhood Canvass, La Crosse July 30, 2026 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM CT Location shared upon sign up Join us for our Healthy Neighborhood Canvass on Tuesday, July 31, as we connect with community members and share health resources available through PPWI. Volunteers will go door-to-door engaging neighbors in conversation about the affordable, inclusive, and non-judgmental care available at health centers across Wisconsin. During the canvass, volunteers will help raise awareness about a variety of services offered through PPWI, including: • Birth control and contraceptive care • STI testing and treatment • HIV prevention resources, including PrEP and PEP • Cervical cancer screenings and wellness exams • Low-cost and confidential health resources available regardless of insurance status. This canvass is focused on making sure community members are aware there are health resources available to them close to home. No prior canvassing experience is required. We will provide a full training and materials before each shift.

Volunteers will go door-to-door engaging neighbors in conversation about the affordable, inclusive, and non-judgmental care available at health centers across Wisconsin. We need volunteers to help us sort through clothing + other donations we receive, day-of; help folks sort through the styles on offer; connect folks to local resources in their community; and be a friendly face representing Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin! Changing Hearts and Minds on Planned Parenthood August 5, 2026 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM CT Location shared upon registration, Milwaukee, WI Talking about ending a pregnancy and Planned Parenthood services is one of the best ways you can stand up for reproductive freedom; but where do you start? Sometimes we get caught in debates or arguments and lose sight of the people who are impacted. For this reason, PPAWI is eager to share the Conversational Approach with you. Rooted in psychology, this interactive 2-hour training gives you the tools to have meaningful conversations and become more effective advocates. This approach to advocacy is used throughout PPAWI from staff to volunteers with the goal of changing hearts and minds. Using the approach, we’ll reconsider our assumptions about what it looks like to support the freedom to decide, acknowledge that people may have conflicted feelings, and find common ground based on shared values.
