We'll be sharing with expecting families what services we offer for postpartum care, different pregnancy resources and referrals, and distributing free items of our own! Election Canvassing in Madison September 15, 2026 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM CT Location Shared with RSVP, 202 N 1st St, Madison, WI 53704 Studies show that people need at least 7 pushes before taking an action. This means most voters need to be contacted 7 times before they lock in a plan to vote! Canvassing is one of the most powerful ways to help a neighbor feel informed, heard, and ready to participate. You don?t need to be an experienced organizer or an expert on every issue. You just need to show up, bring an open mind, and be willing to talk with your neighbors! Changing Hearts and Minds on Planned Parenthood-Virtual September 15, 2026 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM CT (Virtual Event) Wisconsin Having conversations with your friends and family about the issues that matter to you, like reproductive health care, is one of the best ways you can become an advocate; but where do you start? Sometimes we get caught in debates or arguments and lose sight of the people who are impacted. For this reason, PPAWI is eager to share the Conversational Approach with you. Rooted in psychology, this interactive 2-hour training gives you the tools to have meaningful conversations and become more effective advocates. This approach to advocacy is used throughout PPAWI from staff to volunteers with the goal of changing hearts and minds. Using the approach, we’ll reconsider our assumptions about what it looks like to support the freedom to decide, acknowledge that people may have conflicted feelings, and find common ground based on shared values.

Sex Toy Bingo September 16, 2026 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM CT Krazy L Tavern, 518 Hagar St, La Crosse, WI 54603 Ready to put the "O" in Bingo? Join Planned Parenthood for a night of laughs, community, education, and little bit of spice. This is a judgement-free space to learn about sexual health, safter sex, and pleasure all while have plenty of laughs along the way. Planned Parenthood staff will be available to share accurate information and answer questions. Come for the Bingo. Stay for the community, education, and advocacy!

Madison Night Market September 17, 2026 4:30 PM - 9:00 PM CT Outside the MMOCA, 227 State St, Madison, WI 53703 Come hang with PPAWI at Madison's Night Market! We will be giving out free merch and talking about the awesome Planned Parenthood clinics we have in Madison. You'll be with staff or a seasoned volunteer the whole time, making this a great event for first-time volunteers. A conversation at someone’s doorstep can help a neighbor feel informed, heard, and ready to participate. Every door we knock is an opportunity to connect with someone who may not otherwise hear from us. You don’t need to be an experienced organizer or an expert on every issue. You just need to show up, bring an open mind, and be willing to talk with your neighbors. Come knock doors with us, make connections, and help build a stronger Wisconsin, one conversation at a time!

Northwest Community Resource Fair & Cinema Night! September 18, 2026 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM CT Planned Parenthood Northwest Community Center, 5370 W Fond Du Lac Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53216 Join us at our Northwest Community Center for our annual Resource Fair and Cinema Night! We'll be hosting a fair where PPWI and other local organizations, businesses, and community networks will be sharing their offerings for residents of Midtown/Northwest Milwaukee! After the fair concludes, we invite families to stick around for a screening of a family-friendly film hosted outdoors! Free meals and beverages are provided to all volunteers and attendees. September 22, 2026 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM CT Riverside Park, 100 STATE St, La Crosse, WI 54601 Join us for an evening of good food, conversation, and community as we dig into why canvassing matters and why showing up in Wisconsin’s November election is so important! We’ll talk about what’s at stake in the November 3, 2026 Wisconsin general election, including the races for Governor, State Senate, State Assembly and Congressional District 3. Join PPAWI and Wisconsin Conservation Voters to chat about civic engagement and why having conversations with our neighbors can make a difference. PPAWI is actively organizing canvasses and voter engagement efforts across Wisconsin this election season.
