Settle in with your cafecito and join us for a warm conversation rooted in comunidad. We’ll take time to reconnect, share space, and talk about the return of abortion care in Wisconsin and how Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin is fully open and here for our families.
As we gather, we’ll share updates on the essential care PPWI continues to provide, including STI testing and treatment, birth control, cancer screenings, HIV prevention, vasectomies, and more. When you or someone you love needs care, appointments are available at PPWI.org.
Raíz is the corazón of this space. Built by and for nuestra gente, Raíz works to break down barriers in Latine communities and expand access to justice, knowledge, and power. Your presence strengthens that work.
Bring a friend your questions, and your corazón. There’s a seat waiting for you at this cafecito.

Virtual, Wisconsin. Link provided upon sign up.
Holiday season is upon us. Hopefully, yours are filled with treats and twinkling lights and loved ones. And we all know talking with relatives who have differing views on hot button issues, like abortion, can be challenging. Join PPAWI to learn the Conversational Approach so you can avoid dinner table debates. Rooted in psychology, this interactive 2-hour training gives you the tools to have meaningful conversations and become more effective advocates. This approach to advocacy is used throughout PPAWI from staff to volunteers with the goal of changing hearts and minds. Using the approach, we’ll reconsider how our assumptions shape our conversations, learn to acknowledge your aunt’s conflicted feelings, and find common ground based on shared values

We've all heard the slogan "Protect the Dolls" - but it's way more than just a catchphrase. It's a reminder for all LGBTQIA+ advocates and allies: an attack on any one of us, is an attack on all of us. In this training, we'll review what gender affirming care (GAC) is and why it's an important part of everyone's sexual + reproductive health, what are the current legal protections / restrictions for GAC, and how we can defend access to care. Questions? Contact (Jo.Fox@ppwi.org) to learn more!
