Healthy Neighborhood Canvass: Madison August 20, 2025 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM CT Madison South Health Center, 2222 S Park St Ste 210, Madison, WI 53713 Join Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin organizers and volunteers as we knock doors in the community! We'll be talking to our neighbors about the services their local PPWI health center provides, as well as community programs and civic issues affecting Wisconsinite’s access to quality, affordable, and confidential health care. Training and materials will be provided; just bring your fully charged smart phone! All canvassers receive a free PPAWI t-shirt. Back-to-School Bash: Backpack Packing Session! August 20, 2025 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM CT Planned Parenthood Northwest Community Center, 5370 W Fond Du Lac Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53216 Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin shows up for our Milwaukee patients by providing free back-to-school supplies to the community, at our annual Back-to-School Bash! At the Bash, we see hundreds of families who come to receive resources from us and other health providers, while also enjoying a variety of activities & games, refreshments, and food. The best part? It's free for the community! Planned Parenthood is committed empowering families as they prepare for back-to-school season, with school supplies for kids, and health care + community resources for parents & guardians. We can't do this amazing work without your support! If you'd like to get involved with our program, we need all the help we can to pack our backpacks with back-to-school supplies! Madison Night Market August 21, 2025 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM CT Outside Ian's Pizza, 100 State St, Madison, WI 53703 Join PPAWI at the Madison downtown night market! We will be chatting with community members and promoting our health services. Volunteers will be trained and work alongside PPAWI staff, making this a great first-time volunteering event! La Crosse Area Healthly Neighborhood Canvass August 21, 2025 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM CT La Crosse, WI, La Crosse, WI Join Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin organizers and volunteers as we knock doors in the community! We'll be talking to our neighbors about the services their local PPWI health center provides, as well as community programs and civic issues affecting Wisconsinite’s access to quality, affordable, and confidential health care. Meeting location TBD for canvass training, then head out from there. No prior canvassing experience is required. No one canvasses alone. Training and materials will be provided; just bring your fully charged smart phone! Our canvassing program is perfect for new canvassers, or canvassers who have had less than ideal past experiences, to ease in with lots of support. All canvassers get a free PPAWI t-shirt!

It is one of our biggest events of the year- our representation as Planned Parenthood offers a safer space for folks to have important healthcare conversations and let the community know we’re here to provide care, no matter of immigration status, language barrier, or otherwise.

We'll be chatting with attendees about PPWI health services, action updates, and volunteer opportunities. Multiple shifts available. All volunteers will be fully trained and receive a free PPAWI t-shirt!

We are looking for volunteers to help ensure this event runs smoothly and efficiently and that our supporters receive the opportunity to enjoy this event with their families. This day embodies the spirit of what we mean when we say “My Planned Parenthood.” It’s a celebration of care, connection, and community—and a reminder that you are never alone. A monthly check-in with PPAWI supporters and volunteers that includes PPWI health services updates, PPAWI action updates, volunteer opportunities, and so much more.
