A monthly check-in with PPAWI supporters and volunteers that includes PPWI health services updates, PPAWI action updates, volunteer opportunities, and so much more. Planned Parenthood: Generation Action's Marquette University Outreach Session! September 17, 2025 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM CT Marquette Campus (General Area), 2207 W Wisconsin Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53233 Planned Parenthood: Generation Action of Milwaukee is in session! Catch us with our swagon (a wagon with a ton of free stuff!) roaming the campus of Marquette University! We'll be handing out free Planned Parenthood swag, safe sex supplies & other health resources, and engaging with students to learn more about what reproductive and sexual healthcare means to them. Healthy Neighborhood Canvass: Milwaukee September 17, 2025 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM CT Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin, 302 N Jackson St, Milwaukee, WI 53202 Join Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin as we meet with our friends in the community to talk about what non-judgemental, comprehensive, and confidential reproductive + sexual health care services and resouces are available to them! We are committed to empowering our people through education, so they can make informed decisions about their bodies. Healthy Neighborhood Canvasses are powerful opportunities to us interact directly with supporters and bring them along on our mission of protecting + expanding reproductive health access in Wisconsin. No prior experience is required; trainings, snacks, and beverages will be provided to all volunteers. Interested in joining our mission? La Crosse Area Healthy Neighborhood Canvass September 17, 2025 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM CT Meet up location provided prior to the event., La Crosse, WI 56401 Join Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin organizers and volunteers as we knock doors in the community! We'll be talking to our neighbors about the services their local PPWI health center provides, as well as community programs and civic issues affecting Wisconsinite’s access to quality, affordable, and confidential health care. Meeting location will be emailed prior to the event. No prior canvassing experience is required. No one canvasses alone. Training and materials will be provided; just bring your fully charged smart phone! Our canvassing program is perfect for new canvassers, or canvassers who have had less than ideal past experiences, to ease in with lots of support. All canvassers get a free PPAWI t-shirt!

Changing Hearts and Minds on Planned Parenthood - Southeast WI Virtual September 22, 2025 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM CT Virtual SE WI event, Milwaukee, WI 53202 Talking about abortion access and Planned Parenthood services is one of the best ways you can stand up for reproductive health; but where do you start? Sometimes we get caught in debates or arguments and lose sight of the people who are impacted. For this reason, PPAWI is eager to share the Conversational Approach with you. Rooted in psychology, this interactive 2-hour training gives you the tools to have meaningful conversations and become more effective advocates. This approach to advocacy is used throughout PPAWI from staff to volunteers with the goal of changing hearts and minds. Using the approach, we’ll reconsider our assumptions about what it looks like to support the freedom to decide, acknowledge that people may have conflicted feelings, and find common ground based on shared values.

Then this is the perfect volunteer opportunity for you! Our Healthy Neighborhood Canvasses help connect our clinics directly with new patients who are listed as PPWI supporters. We will be knocking doors around Madison to share information about PPWI's services, locations, and ongoing changes to Medicaid. Volunteers will meet outside out Park Street health center and will be trained the day-of before going out with staff. Come get your steps in and connect with new patients! Condom Crawl UW-Madison September 26, 2025 8:30 PM - 10:30 PM CT Outside the Kollege Klub, 529 N Lake St, Madison, WI 53703 We know safe sex is sexy, so let's spread the word on UW Madison's campus! Join PPAWI staff and volunteers to pass out safe sex kits and health center information at campus bars. We will meet outside of the Kollege Klub and walk the areas around University and State Street.
